Introduction

Ballymena Raceway proudly occupies a special place at the very heart of the rich history that oval racing enjoys in Northern Ireland. As the longest running stock car track currently operating in Ireland the venue has been the scene of many great races and milestones for the sport in the province. BMR is entering its thirtieth year of business since re-opening in 1977 and during that period Raceway drivers have competed with great distinction, winning many titles at home and abroad.
